Some Questions from the Christmas Ornaments

Photobucket

After all the carolers had left the Christmas tree
The ornaments were pondering some questions quietly:

Photobucket

What on earth are wassailers?
Do they hang with wafflers?

Photobucket

Is a pudding made of figgie
Something you could feed a piggy?

Why are gentlemen dismayed?
Was their gentleness waylaid?

Photobucket

Where's the angel they call Hark?
Does Harold keep him in the dark?

What are all those halls decked with?
Is the holly bough a myth?

Photobucket

Who made Wenceslas the king?
Does he play bass while angels sing?

If you cannot pout or cry
Will Santa let a frown slip by?

Photobucket

Can you jingle all the way
If you lack a one-horse sleigh?

If twelve drummers all are dumming
Can six pipers fix the plumbing?

Photobucket

So these questions, quite distinguished
Raged on 'til the lights extinguished.

One last voice, I think, was heard:
What on earth's a calling bird?

Photobucket

If you want ornaments who ponder
You can find some way out yonder.
