On the First Day of Christmas...

On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me
A black cat to sleep beneath the tree.

On the second day of Christmas, my true love gave to me
Two Christmas angels and a black cat to sleep beneath the tree.

On the third day of Christmas, my true love gave to me
Three starfish to wish on,
Two Christmas angels
And a black cat to sleep beneath the tree.

On the fourth day of Christmas my true love gave to me
Four brave sea turtles
Three starfish to wish on,
Two Christmas angels
And a black cat to sleep beneath the tree.

On the fifth day of Christmas my true love gave to me
Five white elephants...
Four brave sea turtles
Three starfish to wish on,
Two Christmas angels
And a black cat to sleep beneath the tree.

On the sixth day of Christmas my true love gave to me
Six Lab Retrievers
Five white elephants...
Four brave sea turtles
Three starfish to wish on,
Two Christmas angels
And a black cat to sleep beneath the tree.

On the seventh day of Christmas my true love gave to me
Seven barking Dachshunds
Six Lab Retrievers
Five white elephants...
Four brave sea turtles
Three starfish to wish on,
Two Christmas angels
And a black cat to sleep beneath the tree.

On the eight day of Christmas my true love gave to me
Eight flying piggies
Seven barking Dachshunds
Six Lab Retrievers
Five white elephants...
Four brave sea turtles
Three starfish to wish on,
Two Christmas angels
And a black cat to sleep beneath the tree.

On the ninth day of Christmas my true love gave to me
Nine cups of coffee
Eight flying piggies
Seven barking Dachshunds
Six Lab Retrievers
Five white elephants...
Four brave sea turtles
Three starfish to wish on,
Two Christmas angels
And a black cat to sleep beneath the tree.

On the tenth day of Christmas my true love gave to me
Ten golden angels
Nine cups of coffee
Eight flying piggies
Seven barking Dachshunds
Six Lab Retrievers
Five white elephants...
Four brave sea turtles
Three starfish to wish on,
Two Christmas angels
And a black cat to sleep beneath the tree.

On the eleventh day of Christmas my true love gave to me
Eleven resting goddesses
Ten golden angels
Nine cups of coffee
Eight flying piggies
Seven barking Dachshunds
Six Lab Retrievers
Five white elephants...
Four brave sea turtles
Three starfish to wish on,
Two Christmas angels
And a black cat to sleep beneath the tree.

On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love gave to me
Twelve dancing skunkies
Eleven resting goddesses
Ten golden angels
Nine cups of coffee
Eight flying piggies
Seven barking Dachshunds
Six Lab Retrievers
Five white elephants...
Four brave sea turtles
Three starfish to wish on,
Two Christmas angels
And a black cat to sleep beneath the tree.

If you want to give them to your true love, too, they are here and here.

Ten (or Twenty) Little Angels in the Band

Ten Little Angels (Give or take...)

One glorious morning
Ten angels did appear

And each one held an instrument
Carefully made by hand

First they counted off to ten
Playing one by one

Then they played together
In a joyful Angel Band

There was one, there were two,
There were three little angels

There were four, there were five,
There were six little angels

There were seven, there were eight,
There were nine little angels
Ten little angels in the band.

Oh, wasn't that a band, that glorious morning
glorious morning, that glorious morning,

Wasn't that a band, that glorious morning
Ten little angels in the band

An Angelic Question

by Cornerstoregoddess

In most religions, cults, and creeds
Angels address basic needs.
Angels of all type and whim:
Elim, seal, and seraphim,
Shamayim and shehaquim,
Archangels and cherubim.

The Muslims, Jews and Christians all
Have angels upon whom they call.
If we share angels, right or wrong...
Why can't we all just get along?

Return of the Angelic Question

Archangels and cherubim.

The Muslims, Jews and Christians all
Have angels upon whom they call.
